Climbed the hill to Fenton House in Hampstead this morning. The gardens are a mixture of formal 18th century topiary and a traditional cottage garden. It's got an orchard and a couple of humming beehives as well as a vegetable patch and a greenhouse. Here are some pics.

Went to a splendid house Mompesson House in Salisbury which somehow reminded me of Fenton House, also National Trust.
ReplyDeleteWas it like a doll's house? That's what Fenton House reminds me of.
